Comments: Wonderful day to get out. We put on Hillsounds right after the water crossing ~0.3mi up the trail and kept them on until the ledges just before the summit spur. With the warm weather this week, it will quickly devolve into a lot of "on again, off again" situations. Some decent stretches of ice in the sheltered areas lower down, transitioned to primarily snow higher up. Stable monorail appearing sporadically until about 2500'. Snow in all areas is very stable. I weigh 130 lbs and could walk on the surface off the trail almost everywhere. Doubt this will last long though. Snow depth was 12 inches or less until about 2500', when it quickly got deeper. Not sure how much snow at 3000' - the snow hasn't melted enough around the tree trunks yet. Great views at the top and the ledges are mostly dry.
