Liam Cooley’s report on this “whack” is spot on. Still plenty of snow on this northern approach from West Shore Road, so snowshoes were appropriate. Unlike Liam, I chose to park a bit further away at the Sand Pond boat ramp due to muddy road conditions, adding about .5 miles to the entire hike. |
