South Rd to the trailhead is not maintained. As of today a four wheel drive truck would have no issue accessing the trailhead. |

Parked at junction of Sand Pond and South Road as I didn’t want to deal with the snowbank and ice on South Rd. The road walk was pleasant and was less than a half mile to the trailhead. This is a southerly facing trail and was snow free for it’s entirety. |
