Comments
Comments: This is one of my favorite routes on the mountain. It mostly avoids the popular trails, adds a few views, and offers a variety of terrain (woods, ledges, rock scrambles, etc.). For now, the trails are a mix of dry ground, mud, dry & wet rock, flowing water, ice and snow. I wore winter boots to keep my feet dry. There is one icy stretch on White Dot where I considered using spikes, but I managed without them.

Quick. Get out there before the bugs and the crowds.
