Water crossings were low on the Falling Waters Trail in the morning, but the streams were raging in the afternoon. |

| Comments: |
Mashed potatoes going up to the ridge and back down. We used trail crampons for the most part going up, barebooted from Little Haystack to Lafayette, barebooted to the hut because the monorail was fairly stable, snowshoes or trail crampons from the hut to I93. If you hate postholed trails, hold off hiking the ridge until May. The trails are in really bad shape. |
