 | Comments: |
There were six of us total. One barebooter turned around about .7 up. Three others were barebooting/spiking (one of them carrying snowshoes!) and doing an amazing job of tearing up the trail. Postholes were routinely 10” deep and many more were 2-3’ deep. We wore snowshoes the entire time except for above tree line where there was no snow or ice.
The conditions are super soft so there isn’t anything sketchy on the steep areas near the water. Crossings aren’t bridged anymore and were definitely higher in the afternoon. |
