Comments
Comments: Your going to have wet feet, be prepared for for the upcoming suck fest. Bare booted until LBT then snowshoes. BP bushwhack was easy to follow. Monorail was somewhat stable early, not so much later. Wet trail, exposed rock beat my shoes up big time. Was not expecting the 1st 2 water crossings, see above. Water running on trail once on Brutus. Then dry but I somehow lost the trail for a time. Bushwhacked on my own for a bit. Some ice but not horrible. Tough climb as monorail is unstable, spikes shoes didn’t matter tough going. Really warm made trail even worse on way out. Once past water crossings just barebooted as it was too hard in shoes, trail too narrow. Opted to walk in running stream as it was so much easier. Only saw 2 others suffering out there today. Doesn’t look like conditions will change anytime soon. If you decide to go good luck!
