If anyone is on the fence whether or not to hike Tremont...DON'T!!
I've been hiking for many years, but those were the worst trail conditions I've every experienced. Wait until the snowpack has melted before attempting this mountain.
Major postholes everywhere (with snowshoes)
High river crossings
Monorail like this ^
Good portions of the trail were just muddy rivers
Blowdowns
So many branches to the face
Fell so many times, and that's not typical for me.
Possative note, the veiw was amazing. ???? |
