Cross Rivendell Trail - Sunday Mountain Section, Summit Spur, Roads
Thanks to beta from whereisizzy decided to do this mountain as the second hike of the day for some nice dry trails. In good shape with a million blazes and actual switchbacks! Yeah, the real kind and not those wicked nasty straight up New England "switchbacks". Gotta watch out for leaf snakes on the descent as theres a lotta evil leaves lurking to wipe you out. Much more enjoyable than my first hike of the day which was a mudpit. Was a cold, windy day so chose to stay low and got some good gets. The outcrops on the summit are pretty sick if ur into geology or rocks |
