Definitely glad we did this clockwise. No spikes needed for first .5 mile, but difficult to see monorail, could avoid post holing by walking on the side of the trail in many places, towards the top of North Doublehead more areas of postholes. From North to South is steep with snow and ice but doable with care. Old Path back to the trailhead was easily descended. |
