Comments
Comments: A combination of bushwhacking, old forest/logging roads got us to Bedford Rd for a quick jaunt easterly to find the cairn and now a reflective hazard triangle marking the base of the herd path. No snow at this elevation, wet in patches along the old Bedford Rd, dry as a bone ascending Peaked. Great views from the ledges and with a quick stroll beyond we found the high point which is now recognized. We were the second and third to sign into the new notebook after Cold River Camp Cook who probably placed the jar, so thank you for that!

Stayed a bit to see if sunrise would reward us with any color, not much but still a beautiful day in the woods and to a new (to me) peak which I had been eyeballing for so long while driving past along Rt 25C.

Feel free to check out a brief write-up with some color photography at the link below. Enjoy!
Happy Climbing!
