Comments
Comments: Great time of year to hike the peaks of southern NH while the stuff up north dries out. Lincoln trail was mostly dry. Didn’t realize this trail follows logging roads for a good stretch in the first couple miles. Fun scramble on the final ascent to the summit. Descended via the Rollins trail to the picnic area. This was the only stretch with any snow or ice. All was avoidable or rough enough you could just walk on it with care. Surprisingly, the summit was not boxed in on this gray day.
