Comments
Comments: I've hiked in the Belknap Range many times but this was the first complete trip around the perimeter of the Griswold Scout Reservation via Red Trail in one go. This has been on my to-do list for a while. A super route through the central part of the range and overall very quiet.

I'm happy to report that this route was bare and dry. Up higher there are few small patches of snow lingering here and there but the incoming rain should take care of them.

From where Red Trail appears to end (no clear ending but blazes stop) at Old Stage Rd. on the western side of the loop, I walked 1.7 mi. back to the parking using various camp roads. Not an issue now but I'm not sure if this would be cool while the camp is open.

Also great to meet and chat with Alysia near Mt. Klem!
