all doable, just watch the one crossing the falls on the rocks on the way down - i took off my snowshoes and instead of a controlled lowering to a rock I slid on the slushy snow and got my foot submerged in the water. ALso lost a pole down the falls taking off my snowshoes.. 2 sock changes today with my 3 seasons "waterproof" boots |

 | Comments: |
3d weekend in a row I thought about ditching or not bringing my snowshoes, and was glad I did. I used them for the televators on the steep parts up, and in the soft slushy snow on the way down they definitely made my life easier. Parts of the monorail are becoming unststable and postholes are happening. I would bring them again. River is raging, Met some nice folks. Forecast did not pan out being clear under the clouds, but a good time was still had and no rain. |
