Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot off the Kanc is pretty much all thawed out. I was the only car at 10a and there was one other car around 3p.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Some were a bit high, but no issues. I wore my winter boots due to lingering snow and I was happy for the waterproofing.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns and stepovers, some big ones. All manageable.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My pup a blast. This is his first year spring hiking, and it was very cute when he figured out how the monorail worked. :)
Bugs
Bugs: Some are out, no bites.

Comments
Comments: Nice day exploring the beautiful Greeley Pond area with the pup.

The monorail is quickly decaying between the parking lot and the Mt Osceola Tr intersection. Very much spring conditions, with lots of mud and wet trail along with the remaining snow. I barebooted throughout and it's hard to see the advantage of any traction at this point (IMHO).
