Fabulous conditions today. A few water crossings at beginning headed toward Welch but well-placed rocks made it easy. The trail was mostly dry (sunny day), though some water/mud. Easy to avoid using rocks/roots. Ledges were dry for the most part, easy to avoid the few wet places. Not slippery. No ice or snow -- bare boots are fine. Hiking at its finest. |
