Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: I parked on Goose Pond Road and rode my bicycle to Dorchester Road. This is a very nice bike spot AT trail section.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Leaves - Significant/Slippery
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There are two completely perfect stone bridges for the two water crossings. Wowza!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There is very recent chainsaw work on the Dorchester Road end of the trail, and out at the shelter. There is one blowdown between the two water crossings; it was too large for me to drag off the trail but a handsaw should work just fine. And I noticed those sparkly new FPA laminated signs - nice!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: None today.
Bugs
Bugs: Well, I got one mosquito bite. It has begun! Evasive countermeasures will start immediately. ;)
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing today.

Comments
Comments: I traversed from Dorchester Rd to Goose Pond Rd using a bike spot. There is a sign about the peregrine falcon nesting and to stay away from the cliff edges, so I did. I didn’t see any peregrine falcons.
There is some mud, and where it is unavoidable you can mostly rock hop. Those bog bridges come in very handy - thank you!
