Mostly dry trail. You can see snow on the summit from the road but in reality there are dry paths bisecting the piles left over from snow-making.
With spring run off, you have to hop skip or jump over a few brooks. I got by with my summer boots, which are basically high top sneakers.
We did a long bushwhack from Eagle's Nest back to Andrew Brook Trail, hugging the contour line. Many streams to cross, none of them a problem.
