Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: WARNING CONWAY IS TICKETING AT TRAIL HEAD AGAIN. There is signage clearly showing no parking areas. I was well clear of those areas but still got ticketed for parking to "block alley or street". The shoulders are narrow and steep. I guess the only option is to park completely off the pavement. It's a revenue trap. The town line of Conway and Barlett run down the center of the road so feel free to park on the trailhead side (north) of the road and take your chances with Bartlett who isnt trying raise bucks since they didnt get parking meters (like Conway)

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: One stepover oak near trailhead, large red dead red pine across trail, apprrox 12 to 14" diameter below open ledges after small wetland patch. It would need Ax, Crosscut saw or chainsaw

Comments
Comments: Great day for a hike but kind of a disappointing ending. Bareboots up the top ledges before the climb to the west of the summit cone. Monorail starts before the small stream "canyon", it ends just short of the final turn up hill to the summit. I could probably avoid using them going up but definitely wanted them heading down.
