Yes, especially on Whiteface, flies buzzing around our heads, bug spray definitely helped. Also, three ticks pulled off our dog and one off a hiker. |

Beautiful hike to finish the Belknap 12! Trails were in great shape, very easy to follow with newly painted trees/rocks/cairns. A few muddy spots, but easy enough to go around. |
