Parked at the pull out on the Carriage Road. Surprisingly one of the three spots were available at 8:20 AM. Other cars were parked closer to the locked gate which prevented cars from going up any further.
There were numerous cars on the side of Carriage Road before the pullout as well |

Trail in good shape. |

Several dogs were met on the way down the trail. Great trail for dogs. |

A few black flies at the bottom but the cool winds at the summit kept them away. |

Quick morning hike up to Gunstock Mountain before the forecasted extended stretch of rain.
Appreciated hiking with Haven this morning.
Still some patches of snow on the Gunstock ski trails which Piper rolled in. |
