Comments
Comments: Hiked a counter clockwise loop. The start of this hike is well posted for the first half mile or so and the signs ask indicate written permission is required to access the property. Walked up the road to where the road turns left and scooted right up to NW Peak through fairly open woods and one steep ledge section that I worked around by going to my left (northeast). There are some artifacts at the top and the jar is inside a cool old yellow coffee pot. I dropped down back to the road for a short stretch and found an opening to start up to Middle Peak and made a direct line to the summit and found the jar with no issues. The col between Middle and Ayers has been logged and is fairly prickly, fortunately it was short lived. Going was fairly straightforward through mixed hardwoods and softwoods to the jar on Ayers and then I just headed straight down towards the road, picking up an old logging trail straight back to the road and just before the posted area.
