Walked up the undriveable section of Mt Misery Road to a bend, and took a right on a snomo trail marked as "5 South." Continued up that trail about a mile, then 'whacked up to Towns Mtn, retraced our steps, then went up the southern ridge to Mt. Misery, then went NW directly off the peak back to the trail. All nice open woods. On Mt. Misery, we signed in on the last remaining space on the register, the next person could bring a new register, but one small enough to fit in the aspirin bottle. Nice views of Mt Washington through the trees. |
