Welp another silly choice to go out after the high peaks got more snow. At least a goot of new snow on top with the sun beating down was insanly difficult today. I was the sole one who brought snowshoes so I tried my best to break out the trail with many many barebooters behind. No one has been to south to heading to middle since the storm. Saw prints once we hit middle but nothing nee. We could see a lone person 2 bumps lower when we hit middle. Surprising they came all the way up in the mess without hitting at least 1 peak. It was beautiful and some wind but man the conditions were messy on mess. The trail turns into a water way once you hit imp and it goes sloppy in and out of snow til about 2900’ where it is free. Made it out! Nice hiking with Mark as our tag along hiker. Crazy these people out who are not the crazies working on the grid lol. |
