Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Rock Hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape. Blazes on upper rocks & ledges have faded and may need refreshing. One blowdown on upper section of Clark trail
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper had a blast. Lots of running water on lower trails to quench the thirst of any pup. Maybe need some for upper trails that had limited running water. Plenty of mud to dirty the paws as well, but not too bad.
Bugs
Bugs: Buzzing, but the winds were significant enough to keep them mostly away.

Comments
Comments: Lots of people out enjoying the hills today. Most heading up to Cardigan, but we also bumped into people on other trails, as well. Crowds thinned on the Skyland trail; they missed a real treat. What a wonderful beautiful mossy trail, just lovely.

Some water on trail and wet rocks / slabs slowed progress, especially going downhill. Mud and puddles of water were mostly avoidable, but several locations required bypassing. With the weather looking pretty dry in the near future, the trails will likely dry out. Overall, views from all vantage points (and there were many) were great; could see from Killington to Washington, and more. Was a bit disappointed at the limited wildflowers today (almost none on these trails).
