N-S. Left Dorchester Rd midday and didn't see anyone until about halfway where I met my partner and he passed back the car keys. I picked him up later at Lambert Ridge TH. There was a "Bear in the area" sign at the kiosk, but aren't there always bears in the area...in the woods? I did hear the peregrine falcons squawking, so maybe no lingering in the ledge areas. Checked out Trapper John shelter. some neat artifacts out there. Descending to Goose Pond Rd is a little slippery because of the very dry leaves in the footbed, careful foot placement required. Beautiful open woods. Overall great day. Moosilauke tab closed out.
