Water Crossing Notes: The one main crossing .8 in could be tricky for some. I was able to rock hop across, but there is a tree down across the brook that could be shimmied across.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail has some washout areas, but thanks to the people who built the steps, that is some impressive work.

Comments
Comments: Hadn’t seen a recent review on this trail so just wanted to say the snow is gone and you can leave the spikes at home for this trail. Surprisingly dry conditions. Met a Jane and Patty (sp?) from the OTHH group who were just kicking butt up that trail. #32 of the 52 WAV for Jane! It was a pleasure chatting with them.

The view from the ledges is exceptional. Particularly of the Great Gulf Wilderness.
