Trails
Trails: Crawford-Ridgepole Trail, Cotton Mountain Trail

Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking is ample on Cotton Mtn side. From the North however, there is only one "real spot," so unless you're hellbent on being first there, probably going to be smarter to park in the Beede lot as it is tricky to do a 3-6 point turn on this road... I did it in a two point turn though... not to brag ;)
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Leaves - Significant/Slippery
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No stream crossings, just a few boggy areas that got the socks pretty gross.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blazing was great. A couple of spread out blowdowns, mostly in the section between Morgan and Webster. Nothing hard to go over or under.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Coming off of the notch road would not have been suitable for dogs that cannot be easily lifted. Rest was reasonable.
Bugs
Bugs: 4 ticks on us collectively, lots of black flies when we stood for too long. Overall really good because of the consistent breeze though.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was one microspike on a tree by the view before Livermore.

Comments
Comments: Lovely day that provided a perfect amount of challenge! Crawford-Ridgepole was perfect for my transition from gym to trail training for some stuff planned for summer. The beginning has some technical challenge, there was consistent ups and downs to get the legs in gear, and INCREDIBLE VIEWS!! We came out to 12.5 miles including our two short shwacks, but it took us 8 hours total with 6:38 of moving time. Really can't complain about any trail conditions when considering that over 12.5 miles I only had like 3 minutes of "well this isn't ideal." Agh, I just love the Squam Region!

Tried my best for fun pictures and helpful info on the trail report below :)
