Lot and lots of Black Flies and they are biting. We would have covered more of the Forest, but they were drove us back even with spray. My wife had bites all over her arms and hands. |

 | Comments: |
This is a nice and quiet forest, we hardly saw anyone all day. We will probably come back some day and finish the the other trails. We did a total of 6.1 miles and found cellar holes (really only one good one), some artifacts and an abandoned tractor, always a nice find :) The kiosk was out of trail maps, but they are readily available for download as a PDF from Nottingham's website. We did post our usual video of the hike to YouTube for anyone curious about the hike or the trail.
