 | Comments: |
Devil’s Hopyard still has plenty of snow in the second half of that crazy jungle gym of a hike. Most of the snow was still solid enough to hold my weight, but it was slow going, especially as there was no way to tell how deep a posthole would take you. Very slow, but very fun. Really neat ravine, temps dropped a bit like Ice Gulch, but this is shorter and not as difficult as Ice Gulch.
Rest of KRT was well marked in yellow and the views from the ledges are exceptional. Absolutely deserving of a spot on the 52 WAV. |
