My 3 kids and I had a wonderful hike up Mount Parker with the beautiful weather on Thursday. The trails are in great shape overall and completely free on snow and ice. (There were two small patches of snow off the trail along the ridge. That’s it!) the lower portion of the trail did have a fair amount of mud but it was pretty easy to get around or rock hop. We did see some poison Ivy and ticks in that section also so do be prepared for that. I would imagine that it gets quite overgrown mid summer. Overall an awesome hike and a great one for spring! |
