Superb trail to get to Sandwich Dome with minimal snow remaining, most of which was avoidable. I had to go through a few patches but never needed the microspikes. Copper had no issues going up the steep section but for my peace of mind, I tethered him to me (those familiar with the trail will know which one). The viewpoints along the ledgy portion were spectacular. We only saw one hiker coming up midway our descent. |
