The ledges may require lifting non-seasoned trail dogs. I left mine at home this time.
Note that there is a bypass which would be good for pups. |

Big payoff on this trail - great views of Squam from Eagle Cliff and views all over the place from the Red Hill fire tower. The ledges weren’t sketchy at all (IMHO) and the footing is good throughout.
Surprisingly, I only saw one other person all day. |
