Comments
Comments: A fantastic day on Moosilauke, up Gorge Brook, over to South Peak, then down Snapper-Carriage. Trails were fairly dry until monorail began around 3300’. The monorail was thin, but good and stable throughout the hike, with only a few slushy parts on the upper part of the Carriage Road. Above treeline was snow free and surprisingly dry compared to what I usually see this time of year! Our spikes went for the ride, but some may prefer them for the monorail - good idea to bring them with how fast conditions are changing out there.

Lodge is open - good to see some familiar faces. TOR!
