Comments
Comments: Very windy, sunny day..nice views from the Horn and also at Unknown Pond..trails are in good shape other than the few mud pits..approaching the Horn spur on KRT, frozen snow patches appeared and in stretches an elevated frozen (today) monorail..the first part of Horn Spur was deep frozen snow monorail, used spikes in these sections..one hiker came from Cabot side reported deep snow (frozen) and spikes needed..did some smaller blowdown removals on way out..
