Just one blow down southeast of the Parker Hill summit- easy to walk over it |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Though we did not see a single soul (human or furry) out on the entire 9.4 mile of MSG, we think that a dog would love it... especially the boat launch area at the beautiful Center Pond :-) |
|
 | Bugs: |
Oooophhhh they were bad today when the winds died down- but only in the areas of Center Pond and Dakin/Melville Hills area and the Crider Shelter "spur" trail where those 3 locations had more wet areas. |

PARKER HILL (Stoddard/Nelson), Andorra Forest, State of NH Childs Bog, State of NH Seaver Reservoir
On the 0.2 mile stretch of "spur" trail to reach the Crider Shelter, there is an area of approximately 15-20 feet length of the road in total water coverage (covered the whole road with standing water), we were able to "skirt" around the very edge carefully. It is down closer to the sign for the Crider/Rumrill Forests as you near the shelter. |
