10-12 cars max in the lot depending on how people park. No roadside overflow parking permitted per frequent signage. Lot was almost full today late morning. |

Middle Mountain trail appeared more eroded in places than I recall in past travels. Easy step over just after the split at 0.6 miles from parking, another in 0.1 miles - this was waist high and looked new. A path was forming around it. In another 0.1 miles another low step over. After the split to Peaked Mt there’s 3-4 easy step overs on Middle Mt Tr before the last water then clear sailing. Some of these 3-4 had evolved into water bars. All water bars need attending to. |

Bone dry trail start to finish. Lots of blueberry flowers up high. Hazy smoke seen in all directions. |
