Someone has cleared all the major blowdown. Trail in good shape - as expected for the AT. |

Trail is fine for a dog - wish I brought mine. |

Black flies making themselves known down low. I picked off 2 ticks after the hike - this are seems to have a lot of them. |

Trail generally dry below 3200 ft and then turns into a frozen monorail. We got by without traction but poles were very helpful on the descent. For the next few days will certainly remain frozen. Above tree-line is clear and dry. |
