Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: See yesterday's report on same peak..Also drove to check out Goose Eye/Carlo parking, Notch Trail parking, and Speck Pond..GE/C still fine, Notch Trailhead: logging took place and the road in is widened and solid with some roller coaster spots, two bridges great, and parking is large now as it was turned into a log landing!! To Speck Pond Trail..three washouts..don't go unless you have a high clearance 4whl drive..4 tenths from Success Pond turn off there is a place to park on the right and it's a 3 tenth mile walk to trail...

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Mud - Significant, Snow/Ice - Postholes

Water Crossing Notes: easy step overs... 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: This was a trail check/work day..blow downs reported yesterday are now cleared...a few larger ones required many strokes from the Silky saw!!! Some water bars also cleared..summit sign not on pole, saw pole in scrub near by, sign on ground surrounded by rocks..

Comments: Success Pond Road rough in spots, other spots pretty good up to the washouts near Speck Pond Trailhead..very windy, chilly day with snow showers..a good day to work hard without overheating!!
