Only a few cars at AMC Cardigan Lodge parking this morning and afternoon. Road to lodge eroded on the edges but fine for driving. A few Porta potties in lot, clean. |

Two tip-up trees at 1.2 miles in required some climbing among limbs, or walking around, they are fully across the trail. |

Trail super well-blazed in yellow.
A few blowdowns and leaners along Manning, as previously reported by Ken M, seemed stable with today's winds, but could be dangerous if they give way.
Trail was dry and quick going.
Quiet day, saw just one person coming down Firescrew as we headed up, and saw a few peeps across the way on Cardigan, but no one else. |
