Some seriously amazing trail work since we last visited. Several rock stairs approaching the summit and a new set of wooden/log steps, too. |

Mine the only one today we saw today. Happy as always in the woods. |

Bugs are out and biting, but not bad yet. A light breeze, bug spray, and staying in motion helped. I mostly noticed the flies, but mosquitoes too. |

Trail is in good shape; mostly dry and easy to traverse. Still good water flowing but seems dustier than expected for this time of year. A couple blowdowns near summit; pretty easy to step over. As mentioned earlier, amazing trail work on several stone staircases, diverting of the trail near summit, and new wood/log steps. Good signage and blazes; no issues staying on trail. Just a beautiful day to be in the woods. |
