Parking/Access Road Notes: Full lot with overflow parking into the road at 9am. Half full lot early in the afternoon.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Monorail (Stable), Snow/Ice - Monorail (Unstable), Snow - Spring Snow, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A few small crossings were easily stepped across 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: More blowdowns than expected, but it looks like most have been well maintained. Be ready to take a couple big steps over logs but nothing too bad.

Comments
Comments: The trail is in great shape for spring hiking. That said, it is wet and there are multiple sections where monorails are in varying degrees of melting. It doesn't hurt to bring spikes but you probably won't use them. The chimney was completely dry.
