OK trail for a K-9 in good shape, This traverse was at least 3,200 feet or more of elevation gain |

None until ~5:00 PM, then flies were out but not too aggressive |

Lovely traverse and a little less elevation gain by starting on Davis path. Could easily add the Giant Stairs if you have the ambition and the legs. Beautiful views from several locations and the S. Knob of Resolution is well worth it and not hard to find if you keep your eyes out for a herd path spur that is well worn. 360 view from there. Views of Washington, etc. from Parker are outstanding. |
