 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Only one other car parked along the road. For some odd reason the no parking sign is on the side of the road with the biggest shoulder (which also happens to be the side that the trail is on). |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
None |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two duck-unders early on including one that might be challenging for taller people. Looks like the blazes have recently been repainted. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
See note on bugs below… |
|
 | Bugs: |
There’s tickies on the Crippies. Stopped the car more than once on the way home to eject one that we found crawling around (including one on the dashboard). Black flies were kept at bay for most of the way thanks to the wind, but as soon as the wind died down they were out and hungry. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
A UNE baseball cap is on a rock near the last house. |

 | Comments: |
Opted to avoid the crowds today. Met one trail runner and one hiker. It was glorious (except for the ticks). |
