Comments: Came back to finish off the 0.6 of Boott Link! Was too impatient to wait for snow to melt. Figured I'd do the Huntington Ravine Fire Road while I was out here since it got added to the 31st edition. No snow on Tuckerman up to the fire road. The fire road is just so enjoyable - chill hiking with great views up into Huntington ravine and to the peaks. Muddy in spots, but not bad. Cut over on Raymond path which was snowy but stable. Some snow on Tuckerman's right before Hermit Lake but didn't bother putting spikes on. Did put spikes on for Boott Spur Link though. It wasn't the most enjoyable, but not terrible either. Snowshoes wouldn't be of any help. No snow above treeline. Totally socked in with crazy wind going up the link... then minutes after arriving at the junction of boott spur link & boott spur, the wind blew and opened up an incredible panorama! Love these kinds of days! Came down Boott Spur... some snow in the trees towards the top, but we didn't bother with the spikes. Great day!
