Plenty at the trailhead off Old Troy Rd. in Dublin. The road itself is in good shape. |

The bypasses around the scrambles are so worn now, they are pretty much full-fledged trails. One stepover blowdown right at Old Troy Rd. |

No dogs allowed on Monadnock. |

No bugs above treeline but they were fierce while descending through the woods on the return trip. |

Some much needed time here with a friend. Dublin is mainly dry down low. Up higher, there is some standing/seeping water and mud.
We hung out on some off-trail ledges for lunch then headed up to the summit. Most folks were coming up from the state park HQ as expected. Not crowded at all though.
Hazy views due to the Canadian wildfire smoke but still a great day on the mountain! |
