Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Would be easy peasy for dogs. Mellow carriage roads all the way to the top. some streams but probably pretty dry later in the season. Left Fin at home to recover and I think leashes required in Ossipee range so didnt want to mess with that.
Bugs
Bugs: Zero today! Last nights rain and the cool windy temps this morning kept them all away

Comments
Comments: Super easy hike up to Shaw. The Shaw trail loop including Black Snout looked way more interesting but the 600’ less vert on this hike lured me in. super easy grades all the way to the summit on carriage roads. Oak Ridge Cutoff was pretty wet and muddy but plenty of rocks to hop around on. Rest of trails were dry. Only saw one guy coming down off summit and friendly lady in lot who we saw on Table two days ago. Decent views at top-distant peaks were in the clouds but Sandwich Range was there. Seems like these trails would be fantastic for skiing. 51/52 for me and 32/52 for Margaret. Hope to finish together before the snow flies again
