This was a rough one. The hike up to gulf peak was fine. It was mostly dry trail. Once glen boulder reenters the trees there is a mixture of unstable snow, large puddles of mud, and running water. The worst of this was on the davis path above north isolation. We didnt use any traction. I wouldnt suggest heading this way for a while unless you really need isolation for May. It was a very windy day and the presidentials were socked in. |
