 | Water Crossing Notes: |
There's one water crossing on this trail, and it's almost immediately after leaving the parking lot. It's not the easiest water crossing ever, but I was able to do it while keeping my feet dry by walking across a downed log and using my hiking poles for balance. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A couple of blowdowns, but nothing major or difficult to avoid. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Didn't see any, and I can't imagine this being a good trail choice for most dogs. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Yes. Above 3,500' or so, they thin out--but they're definitely very active below that. |

 | Comments: |
Summer conditions. I saw maybe one or two teeny tiny patches of snow along the trail. Absolutely no reason whatsoever to even contemplate carrying spikes. They are now just dead weight on this trail. |
