Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: easy rock hops
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: water bars heading up Parker could use some love. Otherwise trails looked great
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Would be good route for dogs. The steep section of Davis Path heading up to Stairs spur is very rough and has one particular wet broken ledge scramble that might require a boost for some dogs. Limited water above last Parker crossing but the stream heading down north side of Resolution was flowing. Left Fin at home-she's hiked these peaks before and didn't need a 15-miler to beat her old ass up
Bugs
Bugs: early start meant no bugs for most of the day. We did get a little bit of a fly swarm while eating breakfast on Parker Summit. Later in the day we did encounter some minor bugs coming down Parker but we were moving fast and it was a non-issue

Comments
Comments: Out and back from Bartlett for these stunning 52WAV peaks on a ridiculously beautiful day. Lots of Painted Trillium heading up Parker. We scared up a grouse between Parker/Resolution which was a first for Margaret-gave us a healthy startle as they always tend to do. The trails were generally very dry except the short mud pits near the parking lot and the flat Davis Path section between Resolution and Stairs. The steep section on Davis Path is a lot of fun we both had a blast scrambling up/down. Saw about a dozen people all day and had all summits to ourselves. best view in my opinion is the view spur on the southerly knob of Resolution. Post hike river foot dips are back in season!
